Grounds Maintenance Operative

Full time position – Experienced Grounds Maintenance Supervisor

- 35 hours per week (could be lower during the winter)

- 28 paid days annual leave, sick pay and option to pay in to a work place pension plan.

Your position will involve:

- Working with your team and sometimes on your own maintaining properties on a designated schedule.

- Responsibility of looking after a company vehicle, machinery and tools and driving between properties to undertake maintenance.

- When working for Arccas you will be expected to represent the company in a polite and professional manner when dealing with staff, customers, property managers and the general public.

- Reporting any issues to your manager.

Must haves:

- Experience in garden / grounds maintenance, maintaining larger residential and commercial properties.

- A basic understanding in hard and soft landscaping.

- Full clear UK drivers licence held for over 5 years. (age dependant)

The full time job position will commence asap where you will have a few weeks of supervision and training under the guidance of one of our experienced grounds maintenance team members to get you up to speed with our maintenance schedule and our company standards. Our busiest times are between March – October so we recommend long holidays are taken during quieter periods (Nov - March).

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Do you have the following licence or certification: Full UK Driving Licence?

How many years of Maintenance experience do you have?

Must be able to pay attention to detail and problem solve.

Qualifications related to industry for safe use of power tools (desired but training is provided)

PA6A SAFE USE OF HAND HELD APPLICATORS (desired but not essential)

Salary: £15,300.00 to £17,000.00 /year

* Landscaping or horticultural: 2 years (Required)
